Funny that the LeBron troll vailpass hasn't posted in this thread since June 13, the day before the Heat won their first of four straight to win this series.

Lebron lacks that certain something.
He isn't in the same class as the greats and he never will be.

Barkley & Malone played like men, lebron isn't in that category of intensity, drive and will.
If lebron is someday on a championship team he won't get the credit for winning it from anyone other than his current defenders such as yourself.
I've never seen a player in any sport that was so good that the majority of fans would be happy to see disappear tomorrow.

Durant is a hell of a let better team member than LeBron with the skills to match. Balls and heart count a lot, ask the Celtics.
Hilarious.

I wonder what I'd find if I went through GoChiefs' posts about LeBron, though at least he's still posting his nonsense.

Nah. Durant doesn't have 2 other top tier players, just 1. And Durant didn't have a rotation of shitties having career games.

Nah? So you're actually arguing that Durant is as good as LeBron at basketball (scoring, defense, rebounding, passing, etc)? After we saw LeBron essentially manhandle and dominate KD and his team over the last five games in the NBA Finals?

Oh man, it gets even better. Now I know what kind of delusional hater I'm truly dealing with.

Durant is the better scorer. LeBron is better at the rest. But you are acting like the Heat won just because of LeBron which makes you an idiot.

OK, but it's basically a wash in that area.

Yeah, LeBron is the far better basketball player...as I just said. No rational person could argue this at this point.

LeBron was certainly the biggest reason as anybody who watched the games could clearly see. There's a reason he won the MVP and had one of the greatest and most dominant NBA Finals stretches in NBA history.

How is it a wash?

Durant has a better FG%. Durant is a better 3 point shooter. Durant is a better free throw shooter. Durant has been the scoring champ for 3 years in a row. Is there some other form of scoring that is missing from this picture that makes it a wash?

I know you're ranting and raving without any clear idea of where you're going, but you might want to check your facts. LeBron has the better FG% (53.1% to 49.6%) and gets to the line more (8.1 FT a game to 7.6 FT a game). Durant only averaged 0.8 PPG more than LeBron this season and it was largely because Durant averaged one more shot a game.

Seems like a pretty obvious wash to me. In any case, the point was that scoring was only one aspect of basketball. LeBron is quite clearly better at every other aspect than Durant (and Kobe for that matter too). He's the better basketball player, he's the best player in the league.

I'm loving how LeBron did everything that his haters said he never could, played tremendous, tough, intense and statistically historic basketball at the biggest moments on the grandest stage, and they still weakly look for a way to criticize him. Yeah, while it's always nice to see phenomenal athletes compete and come through like this, I'm going to enjoy this one in particular for a long time. It was quite simply awesome to see this guy play over the last few weeks.

My mistake... I was looking at the finals where Durant shot 55% and LeBron shot 47%.

Your stats are pulled from the regular season in which case Durant still scored more points per game.

You hate for every other player just as much as people hate LeBron.

And yet this series will go down as the series that LeBron thoroughly dominated the OKC Thunder and outplayed Kevin Durant. It's funny how that works. It's almost like there's more to basketball than just scoring points (although LeBron can clearly do that too).

I don't have hate for any player...not even Vince Carter after he quit on the Toronto Raptors.

Oh, did that upset you?

Fact is, over the last five years since Kobe's decline (which is what I was referring to there), Wade certainly was.

Yeah, Kobe knows that better than anybody considering he threatened to quit on the Lakers during their struggles until they got him another star.
