I never got into it. I liked the feel of it but it seems very boring just kiting zombies forever.

You don't have to do that. There are places on every map where you and your party can camp it out until you get overrun and everybody dies.

Zombies was fun as hell, if you couldn't get into it maybe it's cause you were playing alone. You need to play with a buddy split screen or online, it also creates more of a challenge and its fun if you don't turn the power on until you really need too.

Ehh, Cod Elite is nothing special but at least its going to be free this year. Although, being able to track your zombies stats on COD Elite is pretty cool.
