Is the solution really that hard? If we cut regulations that hinder small businesses, that creates the innovation that creates jobs. If we dismantle public sector unions, that gets the public sector to again focus on efficiency and performance, which gives us better use of taxpayer money. If conservatives would stop babying executives who act in their own self interest instead of their company's, we wouldn't see a few bad apples take our economy a big step back.

Those 3 fixes alone, to me, would fix quite a bit. But our partisan stubbornness creates internal wars on these issues instead of seeking compromise. Ohio is a classic example. They created a war on teachers and cops, when they should have talked about unions as the culprits who were acting against teachers' interests.
