If the Kings got offered Lowry, the 14 and 16 for their 5 and Tyreke Evans, I'd be driving Evans to the airport right now if I'm the Maloofs.
Lowry is a much better all around player than Evans. Evans cares about one thing and one thing only..getting his.

says Robinson will be a starter as a PF for years |

I'm not sure how this is even debatable.

If that's true they are complete idiots. Lowry has definitely shown more than Evans.

That's not a position of need at all for Minnesota. I don't really understand the trade at all from the T-Wolves perspective. I don't think Budinger for the 18th pick is horrible for a different team if they need depth at small forward.

I don't have a problem with this trade as a Wolves fan. Improves the wing a bit and, unlike a trade for K Martin would have done, leaves room and resources for other moves.

NBA talk on espn now and they have Jared Sullinger on complete blast
say he is falling fast and will probably drop to the late teens/twenties even in this mediocre year. "Not athletic enough to play in the NBA ..." |

He can shoot the 3 and run the floor. Plus, he's on the cheap. They need a 2 guard but Kevin Martin is too pricey. I agree with you there. |

BTW I think people are over-valuing Ray Allen to the Heat. He's pretty much just a spot up 3 point shooter at this point who'll replace Mike Miller. He's more versatile if healthy, but I doubt he'll shoot better than the rest of the Heat guys did in the finals. Miami is going to be good no matter what. Ray Allen isn't going to make them any better.

Following the Maloofs over the years, they are head scratchers as owners. They are wannabe Mark Cubans but act like David Glass. That being said Geoff Petrie is a pretty good general manager but getting Evans moved is a big deal.
