Spotify vs. Pandora

Do any of you use Spotify? How is it different than Pandora? I've noticed that people's playlists show on Facebook from Spotify, which I don't necessarily like. Is there a reason to listen to that as opposed to Pandora?

Same here. I'll give Google's new service a try just for fun, but they've got a lot of catching up to do. I seriously doubt their library is anywhere near as large as Spotify's.

I'm leaving for NYC in the morning, so I'm currently playing with the offline sync for the first time, so I can have a bunch of music on the plane. Seems to work well.

I've used offline sync on my phone for a year or so now. I don't have any other music player, nor do I have any MP3's on there of my own. I've got a phone with a ton of storage space, so I have my entire starred list (around 3k songs) synced on there. Works great.

How much does spotify cost and how many simultaneous devices can it support (i.e. can my wife and I use it at the same time)?

But when others answered your same exact question on the page before, they said otherwise. I have not experienced their results though.

Cost is right, but you can have it on multiple devices. Unsure if they can stream at same time though. Will try later.

From my post last year...

3. You can kinda sorta get around the limitation by having some devices set to work offline. In other words, if one device is playing offline, that won't impact the device that's playing online.

So basically, you can use it for the whole family, but you'll probably run into some conflicts from time to time. We make it work, but more than two people (and especially if you're talking about kids) would probably be a bit tough.
