The campaign is setting new low's on both sides, no doubt. The "we didnt build it" guy that turned out to take over a million dollars in government loans, clearly taking the "help" that Obama spoke of was just as bad.

Still that doesnt compare to the Health care law that Romney invented, installed and promoted but now is SO BAD it must be overturned on DAY ONE! I dont think that should be any part of his campaign but I hope they disagree.

He didn't take over a million dollars in government loans and no, it wasn't just as bad.

The ad that the Obama team is lying about accuses Mitt Romney of effectively killing a woman through his heartless actions. Nevermind that Romney wasn't involved with Bain when the woman's husband was laid off. Nevermind the fact that even when her husband was laid off, she continued to be covered by her primary insurance from her own job. Never mind the fact that her death occurred years after Romney left Bain to bail out the Salt Lake City Olympics.

In the ad you're talking about, the man (and his father) actually did build their business. The loans you're talking about were government guaranteed, but not government loans. The impact of the government involvement was to reduce the interest rate on those loans by a fraction of a percentage point.

So to summarize, the Obama team lied about an ad that lied about Romney in the most offensive manner. The Romney ad was truthful.

Obamacare isn't Romneycare. The worst part of Obamacare is that it did nothing to address the number one problem we have with healthcare. It did nothing to address the rapidly increasing cost of healthcare and instead of saving the government money (as the Obama administration falsely claimed it would), it's now clear that it adds to our deficit.

Look they both lied, painting Romney as some kind of a killer is way over the line.

You apparently believe that Obama said "you didnt build your own business". When clearly he was saying you had help somewhere, a good teacher, the infrastructure thats in place that allows you to operate your business. The Roads and highways, the internet. That IS what he said and Romney distorted it into something it wasnt. I cant change your mind on that if you wont look at it honestly.

The effects of Obamacare are still unknown and with all the false information out there I dont think we can definitively say what its going to do or the costs of it. I do know that people that couldnt even get healthcare can now, and thats a step in the right direction.
We, the tax payers are paying for all the people that dont have healthcare anyway. Forcing them to carry their own insurance will help the costs to the taxpayer. Bringing in 30 to 40 million more people into the insurance pool SHOULD decrease the premiums for everyone. I wont go as far as to say it will because I dont think the insurance companies will let that happen.

They didn't both lie (at least not in these two examples). Obama's team lied. Romney's didn't.

He wasn't just saying that you had help along the way. Everyone has the benefit of public goods like roads and education. He was saying that there's nothing special about what a business creator did, it's just a matter of luck because hard work and smarts can't explain it. The business creator did "build that" because unlike all the other hard working, smart people who have full access to public infrastructure, the business creator turned it into a successful business. I think it's time for you to be honest with yourself about why you cling to your support of Obama after 3 years of presiding over 8% unemployment, ballooning debt, and tepid growth.

We can definitively say that Obamacare will increase the deficit. If it wasn't clear before, when obvious smoke and mirrors were employed to get a favorable result from the CBO, it is now.

The hope is really strong in you if you believe that Obamacare will do anything to retard the growth of health care costs. Even in your best case scenario where adding millions of healthy uninsured to the insurance pool will reduce upward pressure on premiums, that's a one time effect and the underlying cost inflation of the actual care will cause the upward climb of premiums to inevitably resume. And the truth is, your best case scenario is probably a pipe dream anyway.

It wasn't Obama's ad. As Mitt should know better than anyone since all the other Rs bitched at him throughout all the debates about it--PACs run their own ads.

And it doesn't say he killed anyone. It has a guy who was laid off after a Bain takeover, he lost his health insurance, and his wife died. Viewers can determine the validity of the ad, but I doubt many people come away from it thinking that Mitt killed anyone.

You left out some parts. The non-Obama ad used a guy who had been working with the Obama campaign previously, the Obama campaign lied about not knowing his story, and when he was laid off, his wife didn't lose her primary insurance because she still had her job.

I know, everything is a lie. Most of what you said up there has nothing to do with the events described, and the rest is not true.

By the way, did Mitt actually EVER work at Bain? Because despite his name being everywhere and holding several exectuive positions including CEO when he claims he didn't even work there, every time some event connected to Bain is mentioned, the claim is that he wasn't there at the time. On one hand, it appears he never left. On the other, he was never there at all, anytime.
