We have all heard about what happened in Aurora, Co, and I think that Gun Control is going to be a huge topic in the following months.


What measures need to be taken? Do you have any ideas that will help prevent this kind of thing from happening again as it pertains to guns?

Had a 2 week waiting period been in place, it still wouldn't have changed what happened. The last weapon purchased was on 6 July, the killing happened 20 July.....

Sorry Dave, performing a headshot while both the target and the shooter are moving is hard as ****..Even more so when there are rounds in the air..Not so hard when you're on the range...

I think every single household in America should be required by law to have a single barreled shotgun in their home. If they are Anti-Gun you can choose to never buy a shell for it... I guarantee you home invasions and burglaries would drop 50% the first year.

I think you should be able to legally carry anywhere in the USA as long as you are not drinking or on mind altering drugs.

Have you ever noticed the places that get shot up with multiple deaths always seem to be a place where Guns are not allowed? Columbine, VT, Now This..

Stiffen the penalty for using guns in violent acts and make them serve federal time when they do.

More gun control is absurd...

Some people talk about High Capacity Magazines , What difference does it make? I can carry 6 mags on my belt carrying 13 bullets each and drop and empty one and reload in less that 2 seconds. Only Law Abiding Citizens read the "No Guns Allowed" signs on doors... The person getting ready to shoot up the place or rob you don't give a rats ass about your little sign.

If you make it State time and not federal....I agree with everything else you said....

State time is a ton harder time then federal...Other then the parole/good time for State convicts

I want to see an end to plea bargains and good time for gun crimes .. If the Judge gives you 25 years you serve 25

And right there is where you curb gun crimes, besides concealed/open carry....

So people think the govt shouldn't be able to require you to purchase health insurance should be able to force you to buy a gun from a firearm company? Or should the government provide the gun?
