We have all heard about what happened in Aurora, Co, and I think that Gun Control is going to be a huge topic in the following months.


What measures need to be taken? Do you have any ideas that will help prevent this kind of thing from happening again as it pertains to guns?

A person Drunk driving killing a family is less tragic than a shooting? Drunk driving is an illegal activity that takes lives. More lives in the US than firearms do. I don't see how you can justify the difference. Both are senseless taking of lives regardless of the original design or intent.

I could argue guns are tools just as cars are. Whats the point of alcohol except to alter your brain activity? Making drunk driving a much more senseless tragedy.

Look out for specific "ammo taxes". They can be a lot more evasive attacking from that angle.

IMO another flawed view of the anti gun crowd. What about the thousands of casual shooters that enjoy target shooting and plinking that are not even remotely interested in hunting or killing anything?

I can see this also. I wonder what this could mean for reloading components.

just a few years ago I used to get the Winchester WB 100 round value pack for about 15-17. now it's 24 most times I go.

I just put in an order for 2000 55 grain 5.56 VMAX and 2000 .308 168 grain boat tails.

That might get me through the year.

Sweet! Those 55 grain .223's will go pdq though. Last time I went to South Dakota to shoot prairie dogs I went through like 1200 rounds that trip. I kinda started ratholing a few reloading supplies when ammo prices started getting stupid a few years back. Funds haven't allowed much buying lately but I may have to buy a few more things this fall.

The arguement of making laws to disarm people, when only those who have no criminal intent will follow them is ridiculous also~
