You're the one trying to attribute the age of the universe to Evolution. You're taking what you don't believe/understand, and incorrectly attributing it to evolution, when it's not a part of it.

Also, the age of the universe can be estimated in the billions by something as simple as the darkness of the sky at night. If the universe were actually only 6,000 years old, then space would not be dark at night. The sky would be equally as bright at night, as it is during daytime, because we would be able to see all existing light from the universe. Because of the calculated speed of light, all light in the universe would still be visible within 6,000 years of the beginning of the universe. Only because the universe has been expanding for 14+ billion years, can we look up at the night sky and see darkness. This little video explains the process:

The "Clincher" to what? You must not have watched the video, because in addition to me explaining why that's the case, the video did as well. If you're challenging the truth of my claim, then please provide some data that supports your accusation.

I tell you what, why don't you tell me how old you approximate the universe to be. Then we'll look at the probability of your belief.

I prefer baby steps first we can figure out why people can't get along, kill each other every day act like complete and total douches, etc then we can play with the space situation as we progress. Preferably when we can actually travel further than a moon away....Cart before the horse and the question doesn't really need to be answered when we aren't smart enough to do what should be rather simple things while on this planet.

No, my point is you can ask GOD when the time comes as the answer won't fit in our puny little minds. Until then feel free to look up and estimate the age by the billions as you see the infinite universe.

So you're afraid to share your belief for fear of it being proven wrong huh? That's OK, that's about what I expected...

But it's sure neat that you have devised a chronological order of knowledge to apply to a civilization. I'm sure that will come in handy.

I've never been one to think that any idea or topic is beyond current human understanding though. Limiting or delaying our understanding, or thinking that we know enough about anything, is a pretty frightening way to live life in my opinion.
