Children are pretty selfish, though usually cute. It's often their parents who deserve heightened recognition for their love, especially parents of special needs children.

It's pretty silly if you don't hold the view that earth is 6000 years old. Once you come to terms with the fact that tornadoes and earthquakes and hurricanes and avalanches and floods have been happening for millions of years before human beings even existed, the view gets a little strange, and you have to argue that God put those problems into place because he knew that man was going to sin millions of years into the future.

For every person born there is on average 4 fertilized zygotes fetuses that fail to implant or do not develop or are lost do to disease to Mom. Another way to say this, IF there is a heaven, then there all kinds of little blobs floating around in heaven from all these natural aborted zygotes. Or maybe you will have 4 brand new siblings for each of you normal siblings that know nothing about earth. Having never set foot, since they didn't have feet when they were aborted.

If there is a heaven, it does not necessarily follow that there must be little zygote blobs floating around it. (For one instance, perhaps God only implants souls into fetuses he knows will not develop or are lost to disease; for another, perhaps those zygotes are granted feet and legs in heaven, and allowed to experience walking like their earth-born siblings; for a final, perhaps there is no element of physical matter involved at all in heaven -- no feet, no legs, no cells at all). We can be a little more imaginative than demanding this conditional, and if we can be so, I'd imagine the ultimate creator of the universe can be a lot more so.

They're just sent back to another mom. Like all of us.
