If you read the New Testament you would know he stated he would leave us to our own devices until the world is thoroughly leavened at which time will be the return of Christ. He won't be in such a good mood when he comes back. I know it's hard to grasp but this life is just a tiny pitstop to where our eternal reward lies.

This is the best that man can do, I would rather look up to the creator than some random schmo that has some good and bad qualities.

Why wouldn't he be in a good mood? He gave man free will, and man exercised that free will. Now God is angry that his creations did what he created them to do? That's too illogical for me to believe. It would be like me telling my daughter to go to her room and do whatever she wants, as long as she doesn't kill anybody. Then go to her room and spank her butt because there are toys on the floor.

And the last sentence is one of the most dangerous attributes of religion in my opinion. Don't worry about how shitty life is, because magical utopia is just around the corner. It causes people to under appreciate the only life we know we have, and put all their focus on another life in which there is zero evidence for.

Ancient Egyptians used to think that when people died, their soul was weighed on a scale and compared to the weight of a feather. And bad people were devoured by a giant crocodile monster God, while good people got to take their worldly possessions with them to the wondrous utopia of the Happy Fields, where they would be united with Osiris to enjoy an eternity of bliss. They believed the mortal body had to be preserved after death for the soul to exist, and required offerings of food and drink in their tombs. All that sounds rather absurd in today's times. Likely no different than current religious beliefs will be viewed at some time in the future. Just as you look at these ancient Egyptian beliefs as silly, so will future generations see your current beliefs.

We are not robots, we are not programmed. I'm well aware of the Devils corruption of Gods word under other Deities. Satan was with GOD when he hung the planets and we know angels were created higher than man, So why is it surprising that Satan would try to corrupt us? We have a hearing problem and it gets worse over time, kind of like the laws of physics as things get progressively worse.

Yes, another supernatural being had to be created to blame all the really really bad things on. That explains everything I suppose...

incorrect....not only did Satan fall from grace, he can't make you do anything, nor can he create.... he's anti-creation...he doesn't care if you believe in him, in fact he'd rather you didn't....it's win/win for him.

Yes, it would appear that bad things happen completely randomly. If that were not the case, there would be an observable pattern showing good Christian people being rewarded with positive events. But if you look at data, Christian people don't experience better results in life. And atheists and other godless heathens don't experience worse results in life.
