Yeah, I'm just waiting for the Fiesta Bowl tickets to be distributed out to the season ticket holders.

Anybody got any ideas how that process goes? I already did the pre-order sheet when they became bowl eligibility.

Everyone who preordered should get tix.

That's what I'm thinking too as well. I'm just trying to anticipate as to when the athletic office will mail them out, charge my credit, all that stuff.

Oh by the way, for those who don't follow twitter...

Check your email. I got one from the ticket office saying credit cards would be charged within the next couple of days.

And just when I checked my e-mail, this is what I got from the KSU Athletics Department. Note the bold section.

Quote:
With a Big 12 Championship secured, K-State will officially be headed to the 2013 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl when the Bowl Championship Series selections are announced later this evening.

According to our records, you placed a pre-order for bowl tickets prior to the priority deadline of November 30. We wanted to relay this important Fiesta Bowl ticket information to you as soon as possible.

We have been able to work with the Fiesta Bowl staff to secure 4,000 tickets beyond the initial allotment to cover all tickets pre-ordered by our incredible fans.

While the K-State Ticket Office is working through specific seat assignments in order of K-State Athletics Priority Points, we wanted to communicate that because you placed your ticket order prior to Friday’s deadline you will receive the number of tickets you pre-ordered.

Got back from Manhattan at about 2:30 this morning. Such an amazing atmosphere and I'm so proud to be a Wildcat today. I thought about Baylor for a total of about 5 seconds last night. Then I said "**** it" and ran onto the field with everyone else.

This is probably my favorite team in school history and Klein has become my favorite player. Hope he can bring home the Heisman (I'm glad to see the TV crew put up the Manziel vs. Klein graphic about play vs. good teams) and help get our '97 Fiesta trophy some company.

Glad to see that we had some highly recruited kids there. I really don't follow recruiting anymore (not usually much to be excited about with Snyder) but I can't imagine people not wanting to play in that environment & for that coach.

Random question: Does Oklahoma get a Big XII Champions trophy, too? I'm sure they do, just haven't heard officially.

Ramirez blown away by K-State trip

Ryan WallaceGoPowercat.com

Once a solid Missouri commitment for the better part of seven months, Nick Ramirez decided in late October that it was time to make sure Missouri was truly the place for him.

The whole Ramirez recruitment is going to be interesting. He had been committed to Missouri for so long but then decided to open things back up to make sure he was making the right decision (things have changed with the Missouri program). What complicates things just wasn't how the visit went (great) but that KSU very well likely will land two of his good friends and teammates in Jamone Boyd and Michael Holt who also visited KSU officially with him. Ramirez is going to have to decide if he is going to stick with Missouri through thick and thin or go with the program where he can be a trio package and has a likely better chance of success?

Had a friend e-mail me this quote (not sure where it came from)

"K-State is definitely up there," stated the linebacker emphatically. "Absolutely they're in consideration. Right now, it's just K-State and Missouri for me."
