Crazy times, they said this too in relation with the Cairo uprisal has to do with an American Israeli who made a movie that was anti-muslim. Apparently in was only shown in one hole in the wall movie theatre in Cali, but it hit Youtube hard.

I'm no political strategist, but Romney's statement was too big of a risk to me. There was a huge risk of it playing as petty and un-Presidential, and for what? For the chance at scoring a couple of cheap points?

Now, that statement is blowing up in his face. Especially as this picture gains traction:



If you're Romney you absolutely cannot be photographed smirking like a supervillian immediately after giving a shady statement.

The only people who seem to have an issue with what Romney said are the wacko lefties and Obots. If you listen to the entire thing he actually handled it well in spite of every effort by the media folks to screw it up.

I know a little about Johnson.
I know he was a Republican when that was convenient, I know ronpaul won't support him even though he has ronpaul. I know during his radio interview he was easily flustered, whined and was very, very un-presidential.

He was gov. of a state that was 2/3 Democrat.

He vetoed hundreds of bills, never raised taxes, and balanced the states budget all with a Democratic majority.

He's the anti-Romney for sure.

Romney's words are strong and speak to the weakness of Obama's foreign policy....what there is of it. If not for Hillary Obama would have no conviction at all. It's obvious and naive what the President has done over the past 4 years. He wanted so badly to contrast himself with Bush by bringing forth a new message but all he got was perceived as weak by our enemies. This President couldn't bring himself to use the words "Muslim extremists" in his public appearances. Since his apology tour the ship of state has been run by Hillary who got it mostly right in Libya but the unintended consequences of embracing the Muslim spring are blowing up in his face. Make no mistake we got attacked again on 9/11 and it's probably by a branch of the same crazies we've been fighting for the past decade plus. We need new leadership in the White House. Romney has his priorities right. This war of ideology is going to last our entire lives, we better just get used to that unpleasant fact. We may not need to have 100,000 guys in country but we will fight it everyday until the Muslim world learns to police itself.

Romney's words were nothing short of ignorant. He has embarrassed the republican party beyond words. I'm not sure the party is going to survive him. Today was the latest day in which he lost the American Presidency.

Easy there, Cowboy. I'm not a fan of Romney and I do think there's a better than 3 in 4 chance Obama wins, but there's a pretty good chance that this specific issue wont ultimately matter at all on election day.
