***Official Draft Tyler Wilson Thread****

...might as well get this started early.

Perhaps his injury well allow him to slip to the middle of the of the 1st round,..where we tend to draft.

Wilson is overshadowed by the organizational shit show happening at Arkansas.

I'd be elated with Smith or Wilson.

I think there are 2 top notch QB's in this draft so even if we screw up and miss out on the 1st pick we still come out damn good.
...except it NEVER works out that way. We have to hit on the right ONE. Odds are very against similar careers.

I wouldn't complain a bit if they took Tyler. Just hope they get the right guy.

He (and Hamilton) has accepted an invite to the senior bowl so we'll get to see him one more time before the combine

Tyler Wilson has made it through the worst possible situation a college QB can be in and he's done it putting up impressive numbers.

There is no doubt this kid has the mental and physical toughness to be an NFL QB. I know there are a lot of Geno lovers here, but I really think Tyler Wilson will separate himself as the clear top QB after the Senior Bowl and combine.

Yeah except top 10 qbs don't play in the senior bowl or throw at the combine.

This might have to happen for Geno and Wilson to dispel criticisms that they are products of a system and/or their coaches didn't do them any favors. Von Miller was thought of a late first round to early second round pick before the Senior Bowl because of a knee injury then after that week he was picked 2nd overall by the Broncos.

Yeah except the senior QB class has been shit for awhile. Also, more QBs are starting to throw at the combine again.

This. Last years qb class was more top heavy but this crop is deeper IMO. I'd put Geno and Wilson ahead of Tannehill and just behind Luck and RG III

I'll say this about Wilson, if he lights up the Senior Bowl he may leapfrog over Geno. Especially if Smith decides not to accept the invitation.

I can see it happening but I feel its unlikely.

Compelling argument. I'll check back in later to see your reasoning, which should at least be equally as ****ing stupid as that previous line.

Well none are worth the top pick in the draft. If the Chiefs didn't need a QB in the worst way, many here would see it that way too. In reality, its not as costly to miss on one these days with the new collective bargaining agreement so now is the time to reach for one.
