Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

Same can be said about Barkley bud beside the RB.

Barkley has a butt load of talent around him

so much so that i just don't trust the evaluations about him

He could turn to complete shit once he gets to the NFL where the talent level is so close.

Buie will have to be converted to a slot WR but he has solid chance too

lots of talent and speed around Smith
And he's doing a good job using that talent when he goes up against superior teams with very good defenses.

He's not getting blown out with 4 INTs like Roethlisberger did. He's putting up averageish stats and points against them. Against Ok State and TCU, those were very winnable games that he could have had.

Both quarterbacks have NFL draft picks on offense.

It's gotta suck being forced to watch Matt Cassel play for your favorite college AND pro team each week.

Besides Lee, who else is that talented at USC?

Furthermore, could there be a dumber HC/OC and DC combo in the country than Kiffin/Kiffin?

Barkley isn't the reason USC has lost 4 games this year. Their defense is a cluster****.

It's amazing how much of an impact Bruce Irvin had on WVU's defense last year.

You guys are playing a little loose with the facts here. Roethlisberger's junior year, Miami was a really, really good team. That was probably one of the best MAC teams of all time. They lost their first game, and then won out. I forget who it was but they beat the crap out of their BCS opponent in the bowl game.

They finished the season ranked at or near the top 10 in both polls. They also beat the crap out of a ranked Bowling Green team Urban Meyer built, twice. That Miami team was certainly not the Hurricanes of that era but they didn't embarrass themselves either. They were a legit top 25 team.

i'm sorry but when you throw a screen pass for 40 yards it doesn't make the QB 'good'

that touchdown pass should of been picked off
