Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

Sell me...make me a genobator.
That's the claim, but I think people are getting "too much air" confused with throwing too late. Geno needs to work on his timing on long throws, knowing the EXACT moment to strike. Right now when he's late people see a receiver adjusting to his long ball because the timing is off and they say, "Uhp. Too much air. Ball takes too long to get to the receiver." In reality, Geno just waited too long.

The good news is that part of his game is coachable. He'll get it figured out if he's the perfectionist all his coaches claim he is.

As for throwing across his body on the run, I don't see many of those. I'll have to dig for a video highlight of that. Geno obviously doesn't want to make that throw (what QB really does?) but I assume there are one or two instances over the past two years where he's had to make that throw.

The way it looks, Clay is about to become the new Gatekeeper of Geno Smith college highlights. I'll bet he'll scrounge something up if it exists. Give him time though. He just got all the games downloaded today.

Just watched the whole Glennon vs FSU vid.

He hardly made a single throw outside of 15 yards. All he does is throw over the middle to the check-downs and intermediate crossing patterns. Once in awhile, he tries a back-shoulder comeback route. It's basically dink and dunk all the way down the field.

Not to mention that comical throw that should've been picked in the end-zone at the end of the game, as well as hitting the check-down when there was a WR open down-field that Glennon was heavily criticized on. If this is Pioli's proof that Glennon is better than Smith, then I guess he looks for a guy that is awesome at hitting the check-down.

I'm at a loss for words for how anyone could think Glennon is better than Smith.

Where did he used to be ranked dumbass? That's why people like you are so stupid and don't get it. You think you can glance at something for a minute or post a gif and just walk away.

initially, they moved him from #112 to #37.

Here you go.

Or that someone sees an NFL QB when they watch Glennon.

I am impressed with his leadership skills and he is extremely clutch. He has several come from behind wins and has made some huge plays. For example, this year he led NC State back from a 13 point lead in the 4th quarter against #3 ranked Florida State. He completed two 4th down passes and a TD with less than a minute left. That's the sort of thing I'm looking for. Geno does not do that shit and neither did Cassel. How many NFL games come down to the last drive?

**** ithe stats. **** it in general and back to my main point. We ain't taking Geno and Bowe will be gone bitches. I will find that entertaining. See you later and goodnight.

And now he's outside the Top 50.

But there's no difference in potential between Glennon and Smith.

so you are saying a guy ranked #37, who just moved up from 112, is close to the no. One, or even ninth?

I never said that. i said there isn't much difference in potential. So their pride was wounded and they are moving him back? this isn't about Glennon dumbass and you are too stupid to get it.

The article is symbolic of the QB suck.
