Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:
Spoiler!

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

You are such a stupid whore, burt.

How about this.

Kiper's top 5 prospects go like this:

1. Jarvis Jones, DE
2. Manti Te'o, ILB
3. Star Lotulelei, DT
4. Damontre Moore, DE
5. Luke Joeckel, OT

You ACTUALLY would take one of those guys instead of a QB like Geno Smith?

Be serious. We don't need any of those assholes.

He has a new mock draft out today. Has us taking Geno. Good things to say about him in his write up...

If we just suffered through the worst season in team history for another 3-4 D-Lineman I am done.

Win loss record and the system he played in are the two biggest detractors for Geno Smiths current draft stock.

After the senior bowl, he will start flying up the boards when the coaches talk about how the kid can run pro style and can take pro coaching with ease and is very smart...then, during the combine interviews he will rise even higher as GMs and coaching staffs put Geno on the board and he straight up WOWs them after showing that his measurables are second to none. Pro days, private workouts.

Geno Smith will be the unquestioned #1 overall player well before the draft.

I think the shitty defense is making him press more than he needs to leading to mistakes, and thus the scouts take on him. The longer the season went the more he pressed. A decent defense and a decent coach around him and the sky is the limit

I'd rather take Smith in the second.

I'M DISPELLING THIS BULLSHIT "IDEA" YOU KEEP SAYING WE NEED TO CONSIDER YOU OLD WRINKLY DUMBASS!

There's nothing wrong with my reading comprehension. I'm talking ****ing football. I'm recycling my arguments. JUST FOR YOU, BURT. JUST FOR YOU. WE'RE DISCUSSING THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING A NON-QB AT #1 OVERALL.

JUST.

FOR.

YOU.

Colon Klein had a lot more wins this year than Geno Smith. But he's not even one tenth the QB that Geno is.
The guy who got 3 snaps for the Raiders yesterday was 31-4 in college.
