Geno Smith fans roll call

NEW THREAD HEADER (11/17/12):

The list is gone. We will all be Geno Smith fans when he gets drafted by the Chiefs. For historical documentation's sake, I'll keep the list in a separate post on this thread: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=3314

WHY GENO SMITH?
If you're wondering if Geno Smith is right for you, check out this brilliant post by Saccopoo:

http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showp...postcount=5388

Next, we have a few GIFs you may be interested in from the Oklahoma game. Insane potential. These are the elite throws that very few QBs can make. What more can I say? Geno Smith can be a franchise QB in the NFL, and the Chiefs need to take a shot on him.

GIF #1:
Spoiler!

GIF #2:

GIF #3 (My favorite):
Spoiler!

HOW DO WE GET HIM HERE?

Glad you asked. I posted this checklist earlier. It probably belongs in the thread header, and will be updated as the Chiefs close out their season and start a new chapter in their franchise story.

Preparing for Geno Smith's Arrival In KC Checklist

1. [X] Lose games and acquire the #1 overall pick
2. [X] Get Pioli and the Patriot Way cronies the **** out
3. [X] Hire new GM/coach

OPTIONAL (but highly recommended):
4. [ ] Re-sign/tag Bowe, who really wants to play in KC with Geno
5. [ ] Re-sign/tag Albert

I guess I should post the game, eh...

Geno's game against the Sooners is why he's absolutely got to be the Chiefs' pick. The 8th rated pass defense. And he puts his team in a position to win it.

Un-freaking-believable.

Watch the pass at the 2:50 mark. The 3:30 mark. The 6:05 mark. The 7:20 mark. The 7:30 mark. Sick. Ridiculous throws. Guys don't make that shit but once in their college careers and Geno is doing this shit every single game, multiple times every game. The guy can absolutely throw the ball.

And then, the pocket presence at the 5:10 mark. The 6:40 mark. The 8:10 mark.

Total ****ing package.

I live in New Jersey. It would be so cool to go to the Pinstripe Bowl wearing my Chiefs gear, unfortunately I have to work.

I think I'd rather have Cordarelle Patterson in the 2nd, but I'd be happy with Patterson, Hunter or Terrence Williams.

Cordarelle and Williams are both projected to go in the first, while Hunter is border line 1/2. It'd be nice, but we'd probably have to trade back into the first to pull it off.

i hate to say it, but its because he is black. people just cant f*ing look past that i guess. That would be the only reason to compare him to vick, and jamarcus like i keep seeing people do. Jesus i hate people. Anyways i cant wait to see Geno in the good old Red and gold.

Has anyone seen or posted the interview Geno did on YES Network for their Pinstripe Bowl Preview Show? It was a great interview IMO. I am going to bed but wanted to post this to remind me to get it off my DVR or at least put up the transcript. Talks about what drives him ect.

I had a day dream about handing him a Chiefs hat after he wins the bowl game.

I plan on doing that at the senior bowl. Assuming he goes.
