Presidential Debate Drinking Game

I know at least I'll need it in order to keep from throwing a brick through my TV tonight...

Romney's answers on Dodd-Frank implied a pretty detailed understanding of the legislation and the president's did not, in my opinion. He did well in that segment.

Not sure what it means though. The public probably has never heard of it or doesn't remember anything about it.

I just heard "repeal and replace, sure, we need some regulations"

That means zero, except it gives you a way to not say "I'd repeal it" without having Obama come back at him.

Obama is fumbling on his own Obamacare plan... killing himself before Romney even has to.

It's definitely strange. Even moreso given the fact that they're in an arena that holds around 7000 people.

This atmosphere will make a "there you go again" moment completely impossible.

It dramatically cuts down the possible amount of win that a candidate could get. It also cuts down how badly you can blow a debate, but Romney's the challenger, and he should be willing to take risks. I'm just assuming Obama insisted on it, but If Romney's side wanted a no crowd reaction rule, then his campaign is guilty of political malpractice.

But if there were reaction allowed you'd have too much organized cheerleading and heckling, in today's political environment it wouldn't work. Maybe in the past, but I don't think people have respect for the process and the institution these debates are the way they once did.

This silent crowd debate format sets up a low "don't be as dumb as Rick Perry" bar to clear.

As long as you don't orally sh** yourself on stage, you'll be fine.

Does he really want to go down this road? The medical politburo will plan this all out in Washington?

yeah, I grant that maybe its necessary, but it makes the debates a lot less important. This time, that favors Obama, but in 4 years maybe the Republican will be ahead and the Dem wont have much hope of catching them in the debates.
