What he is doing is working well. I think the goal is to lay out the facts and let people draw the conclusion on their own. If you wag your finger at the other guy you look like a bully. He's winning right now without attacking, just showing command of these issues.

True.. I was just pointing out the easiest way to make a big splash. Obama keeps trying to tell Romney what Romney's policies are... You are correct that Romney is doing a fine job as it is in defending himself though.

Romney's strong suit is economy/finance so that's not terribly surprising.

yep, "YOU LIE!" would backfire hilariously.

I think Romney is doing about as well as he could hope for. Not that it will do anything especially with this "no crowd reaction" format which leads to interminable droning, but he's going to get any benefit (maybe zero) that is possible from a debate.

You are damn lucky. I bought my house in 2010 and even though I was insanely qualified for the loan, that damn process still took a month and a half. Cracking down was a good thing, but I think they went a bit too far.

I kind of disagree with that (the zero part). I'd say many independents will be looking at reactions from the press tomorrow. If Romney is nearly universally declared the winner I'd say there'd be some bump.
