The poll doesn't matter; the fact you see anything rosey about Obama's performance says it all...

Im heavily liberal on some issues (manly social) and heavily conservative on some others...

I was a democrat for 20 years and just switched to 'Un-affiliated' but will likely still vote for a mix of different people for the various elections

I don't know. If you think what I described of Obama's performance is "rosey," then I must think of Romney's performance as rosey+.

It seems like if Romney loses, then it's safe to say no Republican will ever win the presidency again unless there is a big change in platform. In my adult lifetime, I can't remember a race that had such a terrible incumbent combined with a pretty clear improvement as challenger. Will be interesting to see the polls and whether or not any of this ends up mattering.

I'd say it was a slight win for Romney.

Obama did his best Herman Edwards impression and played not to lose. Prevent defense.

Very meek and careful not to offend, like he has been with the Republican leaders for the last 3 years before it became election year. He showed that he was a gutless p*ssy, which is why I'm not voting for him again.

Then again, all of Mitt Romney's charades were out there in the open, the President just chose not to point them out.

On the other hand, it wasn't a gamechanger for Romney like he probably needed either. What's the memorable moment from this debate for him to play in his campaign ads? Who knows? As close as it was to a draw, Romney probably needed a bigger win. The president being asleep tonight didn't make Romney look great either.
