Its sad that after only 5 games the best we can hope for this year is a top 5 draft pick or for Brady Quinn or Ricky Stanzi to rally the troops to a long shot wild card birth.

I FIRMLY believe this is a 11 or 12 win roster WITH A GOOD QUARTERBACK...not great, just good.

Realistically, the team (as it is/was with Casswipe at the helm) should be at least 2 and 3.

Daboll was the wild card, yet the defense was expected to be pretty damn good. But who in their right mind would have thought that Roleo was going to start coaching defense out of his colon?

By any reasonable standard of measure, this team is under-performing at a very extreme level. The turnovers are huge as is the amount of time the defense is spending trying to compensate for them. On top of that, the reports coming out of training camp indicated that Cassel had turned some sort of corner. Little did we know that the corner was the one right before you get to the giant, rocky cliff where all the fans go to throw themselves into the sea.

I know its a miniscule sample size...but WE ALL felt the energy when Quinn threw that pass to Bowe across the middle and then the TD pass.

Those passes were accurate and on time.

If he can give us that kind of play over the course of the rest of the season, this team can be tough to beat.
