Rumor has it, ( via Soren Petro ) that Scott ***** has signed an extension.

I have zero confidence that ***** is capable of hiring a good coach. He didn't do his homework on the first one, then made a completely lazy hire on the second. I don't want to waste another 4 years on this shit.

You don't even have to go that far; it's not about trust in *****. There isn't a qualified HC candidate who would work for him.

I'm all on board for going out there and tailgating throughout the game. Hell, that's been the best part of going out there the last number of years.

If enough people would do that, I bet ***** would have his CIA goons and rent-a-cops kicking everyone out that weren't going to the game. Arresting people for "loitering", or some such bullshit. That would be hilarity in and of itself.

If Polly is extended, that would be as far as I would go to giving money to the team until he and his minions would be gone.

I think keeping ***** is the Chiefs best option. Do I have concerns? You bet I do, but installing a new GM means major change to the organization. That is why teams don't change GM's all the time. I'd rather have *****, whose grace period is over, than a new GM who will need time to get his people and philosophy in place.

The Chiefs suck on the field because of a lack of leadership by the head coach and QB. I know some of you think it comes from the GM and owner, I disagree. Ownership and the front office set long term strategy and philosophy.

I think ***** knows that he has to hire a legitimate head coach. He needs to understand that while the Chiefs are shaped by his philosophy, its still the head coaches team.

I think that means ***** needs to select a proven HC. A known entity. The new coach at ***** need to have mutual respect for each other, otherwise its never going to work.

The QB thing is a given.
