The Opposite of a Direckshun Thread

Consider this chart from powerlineblog.com. The left bar is what has been described by Obama's supporters as a "huge recovery". They generally don't talk about the right bar.

I assume this is the opposite of a Direckshun thread because I use arguments from credible resources to support my point of view.

You, on the other hand, directly quote the Republican Party.

It must suck having to support a guy who has generated almost no employment in four years, came up way short on the economic growth he promised, added more debt then Bush in two terms (something Obama claims was unpatriotic four years ago), embraces an economic policy that no one can describe how it works, lied about the facts surrounding the Libyan attacks and is instead blaming those under him, and he has no real plans for a second term that he knows could help him win votes.

But hey, Romney won't show us his tax returns.

Oh I don't know, it sucks having only these two parties to choose from. But of these two parties, I'm relatively certain Obama's the correct choice. I would rather defend Obama's past four years than have to defend an amorphous, unprincipled 1%er who thinks half the country eats off the floor with their hands and Israel is the 51st state.

But my support of Obama, as nuanced as it may be, doesn't deflate my enthusiasm surrounding current events.

Boomers aren't retiring. They can't because their nest eggs were destroyed a few years ago because of shitty advice from financial "planners" like you.

If the numbers are wrong, I invite you to correct the record. This isn't global warming black box stuff here that you have to either accept or reject on faith. It should be relatively easy for you to rebut these numbers if my source is slinging BS. But since they aren't, you won't.

I don't give two shits about what politicians say. Period.

If you're going to insist on being a partisan shill, I'm going to shit on you. Them's the breaks.

Think for yourself, or offer some independent analysis to back this up. Otherwise, it's just an unsupported claim. In which case, the burden isn't on me to refute, it's on you to actually provide something that can be rebutted.

I use arguments from credible resources to support my point of view.

This is the exact opposite of a Direckshun thread.

No, your sources are often just as partisan as he parties themselves. Stop using the fallacy of authority as a crutch.
