would any be made from scratch? All the other ones use scenes from old starwars movies and words from something else. This atleast uses JJ Abrams movie scenes with actual starwars games and CG

It sucks hard.

The one I posted is at least an attempt at something original, and has some thematic flow to it. There is an idea behind it.

The one you posted is just a jumbled mess of crap.

No. The one in question is very good and interesting to the casual viewer ( read : non fanboy dork ass). Stop being a dick.

The one you posted was awesome.... As a cure for insomnia.

The one I saw showed me something new. End of discussion.

Mashing together a bunch of video game cutscenes with a Star Trek voiceover is awful.

The casual viewer isn't even aware those are video game cut scenes, so that video is showing all of them something "new." It builds interest and looks ****ing cool.

The one you posted was existing scenes from the movies. How is that worse?

For the hardcore Star Wars fan, only one of those trailers was remotely satisfying.

On this we agree. BUt the majority of hard core SW fans are so disillusioned with the dissolution of the EU that they haven't emerged from their caves for the last week.

Unconfirmed rumors.

This is a breaking story from Movie Pilot, they ran it this afternoon without any sources, so, take all this info with a grain of salt, ok? We previously reported on the big official word from the Star Wars website about the casting, but now we have all this other stuff:

(Special thanks to Dave Turner for pointing this out to me)

- The full title of the film is ‘ Star Wars: Episode VII – The Order of the Jedi’. The film was rumoured to be called ‘A New Dawn’ but that has recently been revealed to be an ‘in-canon’ novel to be released soon.

- Oscar Winner Lupita Nyong’o is also in the cast. She will be playing a character called ‘Asajj Ventress’. Nyong’o was not officially announced in yesterdays report but was one of the first names to have signed up after Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.

- Daisy Ridley will be playing a member of the Solo Family.

- Max Von Sydow will be providing his voice only to a character that will run right through the new Trilogy.

- Luke Skywalker will be the ‘Obi Wan’ type character of the new trilogy.

- Han Solo is the High Commander of the New Republic

- Leia is now the ‘Queen Regent of the Republic’

- The Big bad is not a Sith Lord

Lol, that is hilarious! Anakin was allowed to become a Force ghost with the likes of Kenobi and Yoda yet he was pretty much directly responsible for the deaths of BILLIONS (maybe trillions off screen?)...
