Bottom-line for me: Obama hasn't been great, but Mitt is an awful candidate for America in 2012. For what it's worth, he'd have been a fine candidate for the GOP in the 1880s....but this ain't 1880.

Surely you aren't skeptical about whether Romney's donors were US citizens. You realize it would be illegal to collect donations from foreigners, don't you? Campaigns do that kind of thing on the sly (like Al Gore and Bill Clinton with their laundered Chinese money) or with plausible deniability (like Obama's non-secure credit card transactions), not in highly publicized fundraising events.

Mitt's a lousy candidate, but the hilarious thing is that he was the best in the field. Bachmann, Santorum, Cain, Paul, Gingrich, they all would have gotten thrashed far worse than Mitt.

Mitt was the best in a very sorry lineup.

I'm surprised more people don't agree with me that Sandy had a very negative impact on Mitt. It seemed he had most of the momentum before the storm and very well would have taken it over but for the hurricane.

The talking heads on Sunday seem to credit Christi's praise of Obama more than the actual response to Sandy as to why the polls are showing 70% approval and an slight uptick in the battleground and national polls for Obama.

The former Bush press secretary was saying that he was predicting a Romeny popular vote and Obama EC victory. He now thinks Sandy will also deliver the popular vote to Obama and he also thinks its was Cristi's praise more than the response.
