So, why is Mitt going to lose?

Poll Forthcoming.

Bottom-line for me: Obama hasn't been great, but Mitt is an awful candidate for America in 2012. For what it's worth, he'd have been a fine candidate for the GOP in the 1880s....but this ain't 1880.

290-248....you read it here.

FTR, the odds are 3:1, or 4:1. So, yes, I could end up being wrong...just sayin'.

Please discuss...

Surely you aren't skeptical about whether Romney's donors were US citizens. You realize it would be illegal to collect donations from foreigners, don't you? Campaigns do that kind of thing on the sly (like Al Gore and Bill Clinton with their laundered Chinese money) or with plausible deniability (like Obama's non-secure credit card transactions), not in highly publicized fundraising events.

Here's what Yahoo News reported on the event:

Quote:
Romney's finance event marked the first time a presidential candidate has raised cash in Israel. The campaign accepted contributions only from American citizens—since candidates and parties are blocked from raising cash from foreign sources.
I'm still not sure what you mean by "prove the difference". If you meant something other than what I just proved, you'll have to rephrase in a more common form of English. Maybe if you wait until you're sober it would help.

Kotter is front running Obama right now. If Romney pulls the upset, it won't be two months before he's Romney's biggest fan. From Clinton, to Bush, to Obama - there's no one Kotter loves more than the guy who won the election.

Because their CP critics are even more clownish in many cases.

The Mourdocks' and Akins' of the world deserve all the shit that comes their way. They are idiots, and I would imagine republicans such as yourself would just as soon distance themselves from those train wrecks. Why wouldn't you?

Mitt's a lousy candidate, but the hilarious thing is that he was the best in the field. Bachmann, Santorum, Cain, Paul, Gingrich, they all would have gotten thrashed far worse than Mitt.

Mitt was the best in a very sorry lineup.

I'm surprised more people don't agree with me that Sandy had a very negative impact on Mitt. It seemed he had most of the momentum before the storm and very well would have taken it over but for the hurricane.

In the big scope of how things work, it was really pretty small, but when people saw Chris Christie praise Obama (and then subsequently lay FOX News out about not giving a damn if Romney came for a visit), it was a momentum swing in favor of Obama.

Obama did everything right in regards to Sandy, as he should have. Was it a big enough swing? We'll know in a few days.

The talking heads on Sunday seem to credit Christi's praise of Obama more than the actual response to Sandy as to why the polls are showing 70% approval and an slight uptick in the battleground and national polls for Obama.

The former Bush press secretary was saying that he was predicting a Romeny popular vote and Obama EC victory. He now thinks Sandy will also deliver the popular vote to Obama and he also thinks its was Cristi's praise more than the response.

And this solidified him as the R's 2016 nominee. Hell, I'll give him a look over for 2016.
