Exactly. Every day a conservative more and more conservatives die and more and more liberals are born.

There are more children available to adopt than families willing to adopt.

I can't tell you how many gay couples that I know that have adopted twins, siblings, etc.

If gays can adopt, so can non-gays. The dirty secret about adoption is that most white people won't adopt non-whites, nor are they willing to adopt whites born to drug mothers.

Social issues I as a libertarian actually care about:

War
GLBT rights
De-criminalization of drugs

Issues I don't give one flying **** about:

Vaginas
Fetuses
Scientific research at the expense of fetuses

Silly how? Healthy?

FWIW, I rarely bought a school lunch. In high school, we could go out for lunch.

So, are you referring to K-6 school aged kids? What is the Federal Government doing wrong?

ah, domestic adoption. HUGE pain in the ass--my wife and I have looked into it, and the process is WAY more difficult than it should be.

I'll agree with this other than the scientific research aspect, but I'm a science grad student--of course I'm all for more research (as long as it's done in a responsible manner)

I live in California and have yet to see anything regarding the regulation of French Fries or sodas in Los Angeles.

The bottom line is that 60% of this country is obese. Obese people don't even know or recognize they're obese. Health care costs are out of control due to the growing obesity problem in this country.

So, if you have a problem with a 32 ounce soda not being big enough, go to the ****ing market and buy a liter and drink your ass off.

Because that is a losing platform. You know it is. They become "single issue" and make themselves even less competitive.

The Republicans are done. They've managed to make themselves irrelevant to mainstream America.

So does anyone want to respond on the civil liberties thing? That's kind of a big thing for Libertarians and Dems are nowhere close on that issue.
