Cali residents, what's up with Kamala Harris?

What's the scoop? Is she the real deal or FOS?

She was one of only two people on the ballot. I'm trying to remember if I voted for her because she's attractive or if I wrote in Deez Nutz on my ballot.

It was either her or Loretta Sanchez to choose from. Or a write in for Deez Nutz.

How can a Senator really get on a pulpit and in effect say "**** immigration laws"?

Like...don't they take an oath to faithfully uphold the law of the land or something like that? Sure seems like our chief lawmakers ought at least have some passing interest in upholding the law.

True, but Senators also shape or change the law. So if they disagree with something I'd rather they were honest about it so I know where they stand.

Personally I can't stand her. She is extremely anti 2A. There were her and Loretta Sanchez on the ballot. Both Dems. I voted for Sanchez. Not much better of a choice but isn't that what this election was all about?

Sanchez was definitely the more 'conservative' of the two. Lesser of two evils so to speak.

I guess that's fair.

But isn't "I'm going to change the law" a far cry from "I'm going to ignore it?"

Sure seems to me like her promises of open defiance qualify as the latter.
