I'm not sure, just started following SKC (I'm in DC). I'd assume from the sched it's Chicago, but again, don't know that much about SKC.

Either way, should be a fun day the United/Metros match is fixing to get chippy and the Sea/Port matches are always fun. Good bookends around SKC.

Holy shit. Espindola just sent a rocket off the woodwork. Second crossbar he's hit today.

I'm not sure anybody in KC cares about anything or anybody in Chicago.. It's a shit town, with shit people, so I hope we win, but other than hoping a meteor hits downtown Chicago and levels the city and it's suburbs, I have little time to worry about another one of America's shit-hole cities.

Understandably, seems like there's a foul every time SKC gets a run going. Some cards need to start coming out or things might get ugly.

At least they're calling the fouls though. Officials swallowed the whistles for most of the DC/NY match earlier and it got chippy late. They eventually started throwing cards late which calmed it down a bit.

With the exception of a few brief breaks, SKC has been totally in control, just need to start getting some more shots off. Possession difference has been pretty ridiculous.

Robbie referring to SKC as "Kansas" constantly is starting to get my stabbies riled up.

Well, that's the kind of game that makes folks not like soccer. Perhaps enthusiasts can appreciate it, but a 0-0 tie, and no sudden death OT, no shoot-out, just makes soccer even harder to grow (when there are more scoreful sports to watch). Soccer could change this with a few simple "global" rule changes (that'll never change), like getting rid of the offsides rule. If you want to defend with fewer folks to leave one near their net, go for it. So many plays end with that silly "timing it wrong" offsides call.

I thought if they could generate more shots in the 2nd half they'd be golden.

I was completely wrong.

They did generate more shots (nearly tripled their first half effort), but they had trouble getting quality chances and when they did executed poorly or just got unlucky with bounces. 20 shots but only 3 on frame. Some of that had to do with Chicago going into Italian national team mode early in the second.

I gotta say SKC is a pretty fun team to watch though.

Sean Johnson plays SKC really tough. SKC is fun. Beiler-Zusi-Feilhaber will get more good ideas on forward play.

Jerome Mecheck had a good game. I laughed when Jerome started taking the ball out at the south end and I was like woah wait for Besler to throw it in. Some guy said "HEY NEW GUY>>>AROUND HERE WE LET BESLER THROW IT IN. It was very cold out and lots of people in my section left early. South West stands it was very quiet and you could watch the game in peace. The caudron was loud as hell as (blue) Uri was ok...Sapong meh....Taca didn't get the rock much...no one did much of anything actually. I am so over the get the ball outside the box and swing it wide to Sinovic. Be more creative. Maybe back door pay with Sinvoic. I though maybe Peterson Joseph and Saad could have came in earlier for alittle bit of a umph but whatever. Chicago didn't do crap other than bunker down and there was clean sheet for Jimmy Nielson.

If they were going to go with blue, I wish they had gone with Inter Milan's blue-and-black - I've always loved it. Or....perhaps better for Chiefs fans, had they gone with AC Milan's colors, that would have been sweet too. LOL, all this from a die-hard Juve fan. Best soccer colors EVER for me!
