Playstation Vue is available nationwide now.

$30 per month for 55 channels including ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2. Can't say for certain if it is worth that price but it does give SlingTV a run for its money at that rate.

You have to go to the $35 plan to get the regional sports channels though.

Vue does not have a Bandwidth limiter like Sling does. I would prefer Sling for that option alone. Not sure why Vue doesn't offer the ability to knock the bandwidth down if you don't want all HD all the time.

thats the stupid thing. You can have up to 3 devices watching at the same time as long as they are not PS4s.

You can only have one PS4 running it at the same time.

so, if you have a ps3 and ps4 you can view at both locations but if you have two ps4s you can only view on one of them.

the comparison article is a little out of date as it was based on stats from before the national rollout.

plus a fire tv

with the price drop even further, plus regional sports networks, this is an awesome value.

What sense does that make? They obviously have a reason for it, but ???

it is to curb account sharing. I dont believe they do IP address limits, only device registering. Anyways, it is way better Sling where it is once device at a time. Hell, sling will even kick you off of WatchESPN if you log in to sling elsewhere. It looks like Vue will not do that.

Signed up for the trial, said unable to verify my account had a subscription and the service was unavailable. What a wonderful ****ing trial.

Starting to remember why I never power on my PS4 anymore.

E: Just get a black screen when I try it on my FireTV. Talk about bullshit.

The $30 price doesn't seem to be available in the DFW area as we are one of the few markets with local channels. The Slim package is available for markets with no local channels on Vue. So it's $10/month for channels you can pick up with an antenna.

Finally got it working. Guess their tracking system is legit retarded and CS had to override it.

The overall service quality seems better than SlingTV so far, but locked in at 720 is a sad thing.

How many stations actually broadcast in 1080p?

Mildly tempting, but I've weaned myself off of pay TV enough these days that SlingTV is plenty for me.
