Yeah, I can't imagine why anyone would degrade someone else simply because they have faith. That doesn't really make any sense. That's almost as bad as when someone tries to use faith in place of logic, thinking that they are engaged in a rational discussion. They degrade themselves.

I think apes do murder each other in a way. Or at least what we would consider murder. It's hard to pin "unlawful killing" on an animal, but there is at least a similarity.

I remember in 1974 my uncle Gene came home from Vietnam with a new Vietnamese bride & her 2 young sons. These boys didnt speak a lick of English, or have any clue what Xmas was. So we kids. 12 of us kids including my cousins & our parents put on a play out in the double car garage for our new family members. Grandpa & my dad built a nice wooden lil manger with straw lil crib ect. I think I was one of the wise men. Go figure that one. LIVESTEAM a wise man. hahaha

For those that don't understand Christianity, I guess.

It is not through deeds I ascend, but through believe. Christians don't have an accounting system and a blindfolded Justice holding scales. Our deeds cannot buy our way into Heaven.

I understand you have an extreme bent against religion, but perhaps you would be better served by accepting others may be right in things neither of you can prove and simply learn to live with them instead of attempting to belittle them?

No, I think you have it completely backwards within the context of this discussion. That "invisible holy pistol" exists in his mind. It has nothing to do with his actions, only his thoughts. Those thoughts may or may not lead to actions but the thought process itself is what's important.
