Gosh...a RWNJ FOX news comedian and 'contributor' deliberately incites those he disagrees with (carrying a camera crew with him) and anyone is surprised that some low-end gene pool types take the bait. Seems to me he got precisely what he wanted.

Wow. Shocking. Bet that a LWNJ MSNBC comedian and 'contributor couldn't get a similar reaction from low-end gene pool types at a "Tea Party" rally. Uh-uh. No way, sir-ree!!

Obama should just sit these people down and have a beer with them.

That's what Obama would do. He's so cool and genuine. Wish we could elect him for a 3rd term!

Your Democratic leaders at work !

"There will be blood, there will be repercussions," State Democratic Rep. Douglas Geiss, speaking on the House floor on Tuesday, warned ahead of the votes.

It's been really ****ing disheartening to hear the rhetoric Democrats are embracing over the past few days. Implying violence on the floor of the Senate, implying that a civil war could break out...

There's absolutely no reason to incite hysterics. I understand the massive nature of this move by Republicans, and lord knows it makes me mad, too. But it's antidemocratic to threaten that with violence.

You defeat it, with votes.

OK. I was digging through the article to make sure I understood the nature of the legislation. Here's a quote:

"...legislation that prohibits requiring nonunion employees to financially support unions at their workplace. "

That's ridiculous. So these people are protesting because they want to make people who don't belong to their union pay for it anyway? **** them.

Slightly. They would want their coworkers who benefit from the union to not be freeloading.

Sure they do sometimes.

... but so do Unions.

The main difference is the unions are there to protect employees.. not exploit them for money and votes. They're necessary, but also have become shady and shiftless. Tenure becomes more important than merit.

Unions have not been doing what hey were designed for. They do as much exploiting as protecting in today's america.

Legally, so are corporations.

The problem is the desire for profit can sometimes compromise that protection, and can occasionally even put it on the backburner. Which is understandable, they didn't create business to help employees, they did it to make money.

Unions act as a counterbalance to that, and are the largest, most powerful agent on behalf of the non-wealthy workforce that this country has.
