The Media’s Gun Control feeding frenzy
Anyone who thinks the media is skewed to the right needs to have their head examined. I have Bloomberg on all day here at work and it was all about gun legislation all day yesterday. I am watching KTVU this morning and the docket went something like this:
Controlling Gun Violence
Revisiting the massacre
(shooter name) Going over his background and how he destroyed his computer by hammer or screwdriver so nobody could see what he was doing.
Traffic Report
Gun Sales skyrocketing in Oregon, Washington and California
Standoff lasted 5 hours last night
Libertarians think Teachers should go through training and pack heat in school.
Weather
Gun sales in Texas WTF?
Proposing gun control

It gives the obviously attention starved the only attention they can get.

I don't understand the media. They brand anyone who does not agree with them as unintelligent, yet they discount basic psychology at what seems about every turn.

I used to work with an old guy that was a Korea and vietnam GySgt in the corps. Shared a cabin with him for about half a year. He would flip the **** out when I'd refer to my firearms as guns, which of course I continued to do and do to this day. Funny though, he had no problem cooking and eating the venison those guns took down. Great guy though.
