The old dolphin had some concussion issues. It wouldn't surprise me if he winds up shooting himself in the chest in a few years.

This completely sends the wrong message in the era of concussion management. The helmet absolutely has to be wearing a helmet, and in fact the league needs to start mandating helmet use by the Detroit lion, Jacksonville jaguar, Oakland raider, Denver bronco, Atlanta falcon, Carolina panther, Tampa Bay buccaneer, Arizona cardinal (which would look really cool in a helmet, incidentally), Seattle seahawk, Buffalo ... um ... buffalo, and even that little 1950s pixie that the Browns use.
