No question this year. I wasnt around in 77, but the other recent crap teams have at least been trying to build through the draft and admitted they were going young. This team was supposedly an all out effort to go for a super bowl (or in Chiefs terms, a playoff win).

Its also worse thinking that this team is yet another step in dismantling what had been a very promising base for a contender. Pollard, Gonzalez, and Waters were shown the door immediately, Carr is gone, Bowe and Albert are probably next.

What I remember of the 77 team was that it was just ho-hum boring and talentless. Some names from the past who were at the end of their careers.

I don't remember them being blown out all the time, turning the ball over this much.

CB - '12 barely because Flowers is better now than he was in '08. Carr as a rookie was pretty bad.

Coaching - oddly enough '08 because Gailey is a quality coordinator.
