What Were the Rumors Prior to Haley and ***** Being Hired?
As you can see, I created my account for this board in September of 2011. I lurked on here for like a year prior to joining. So I am a bit too n00btritious to remember what rumors were circulating on this board when Carl Weathers Chubbs Peterson had his arm blown off, was knocked senseless by a Russian to ultimately be gulped up by a crocodile and Herman's head was blown off by this organization. With that said, what were the rumors prior to Haley and ***** being hired? Did rumors about either of the 2 being hired by the Chiefs ever emerge? If so, when did these rumors surface? What were the other rumors? What were the most ridiculous, far-fetched rumors?

yes, there were rumors.

***** was always in the running to be Chiefs GM, was also linked to Giants job and at one point was rumored to have received offer from NY but turned it down for complete control in KC.

The Haley runors were abound before the Cardinals were in the Super Bowl.

Chris Colinsworth said we were gonna hire Todd Haley as HC a couple weeks prior to it happening. Iirc ***** turned down the Browns and Giants jobs to have more power in kc.

Kirk Ferentz was on that list for HC candidates that Hunt/***** wanted, still on that list, and rumored to be "THE" choice everyone keeps wondering about now that there are statements made that Haley wasn't the #1 choice.
