Ever listen to Casserly on NFLnet? It's no wonder why he isn't a GM anymore in this league. Total ****ing moron.

Do they mean offensive coordinator lol
Chiefs Offense - TM - Chiefs
According to the Denver Post, new Chiefs coach Andy Reid is hoping to make Brad Childress his defensive coordinator in Kansas City.
Childress was Reid's offensive coordinator from 2003-2005 in Philadelphia, and the Eagles made the NFC Championship Game all three years. They also share an agent in Bob LaMonte. The Denver Post's report runs contrary to one from CSN Philly, which stated late Friday that Reid wanted Doug Pederson as his OC.

They just had a discussion about this on NFL Countdown on ESPN. The guys on there all seemed to like the hire, and mentioned that Reid was going to be the first domino to fall, now all the other guys can see where they can go. Pretty much saying Reid was the most important hire out there.

On the flipside, they talked about how this team has talent, and Keyshawn said they just need a QB. Then they got into the discussion about that, and every single one of them said they didn't think the answer at QB would be in this draft. There may not be any answers out there. Then Keyshawn said maybe they have to bring in someone like Alex Smith, although even he didn't sound really excited about that idea.

There was a report that Heckert canceled his visit to the Jets. I think that bodes well for us.

One thing about Heckert:

He is not a very hands-on GM. He was highly criticized in Philadelphia for never leaving his office and very rarely going out in person to scout talent. He would send his scouts out to do the work for him and report back.

Heckert is gona be the cap guy I believe with Dorsey being the personnel evaluator but being the GM so he can come here so its not a lateral move

or does that mean we'll have to retool the D to 4-3 and take 2 or 3 years to do so with the proper personnel.

@JasonLaCanfora: Kansas City Chiefs interviewed Ray Farmer, already on staff, for their GM opening today. Still likely to hire John Dorsey
