I know they don't have the #1 pick or players like JC, Tamba, Houston, Flowers and DJ. But hey you know... Kolb and all

It's all from whatever "inside" source Petro has, that told him Pioli was on the trip to Atlanta. They've built that into, Pioli is leading these interviews, and still has all his old power.

These guys are ****ing clueless as to what goes on in interviewing candidates. If you are trying to set up an organization where you want everyone working together you better have a lot of people in the room.

Here's Bowlen all by himself interviewing John Fox. Oh, wait...

Why?

If I'm interested in the job, and Clark tells me, "nothing to worry about, I'm working out the legal ramifications of a buyout for Scott," it's not going to bother me in the least.

What these guys get - that most fans don't - is that this is a BUSINESS.

That's an assumption on your part about what Clark would say. The fact remains -> Scott Pioli is the GM of the Kansas City Chiefs. Scott Pioli is actually participating in interviews for a new head coach.

No, they have guys like Larry Fitzgerald, Darnell Dockett, Patrick Peterson, Calais Campbell, Daryl Washington and Adrian Wilson.

Try again.

Being present does NOT mean participating.

Talk about an assumption.

Clark created this mess by not making a firm decision on Pioli. The coaching search should have nothing to do with that decision. I'm sure it's because of legal or financial issues, but it's such an odd situation criticism should be expected. Though if a big time hire is made everyone will back pedal real quick.

What's really bad is I've heard a comment from a Lions fan that the 0-16 Lions could beat our 2-14 Chiefs. FML
