Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started.

Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE:

If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point.

It's fine to use it as a supplement when in a bind, but is there a reason you cant eat 3-4 meals a day? I use shakes sometimes too for breakfast, mixed with milk oats & pb, but much rather eat 4 giant ass meals.

Protein mix is a supplement not a meal replacement. If you are doing this on a regular basis that is not good. You are depriving your body of nutrients.

True, but most use it as a MRP by mixing it with milk, oats, banana, pb, etc.

What works for an advanced trainee won't work for you. Also, if he's on steroids, it definitely won't work for you. The only thing you need to do is in the first post of the thread.

You are better off spending your $ on chicken breast than on protein powders.

If you have a costco membership you can get a 3lb rotisserie chicken for $5.00. These last me two meals. Tons of lean protein!

By the way, pec dec was just hard to do and didn't feel like I was working any particular muscle out.

Switched to DB Fly and ****in a am I sore on the outer pecs. Way happier with that lift and first time I've had pretty bad doms in 4 weeks.

There is enough fat and oil in the PB that I would skip the coconut oil unless you just like the added taste.

btw... coconut oil is a cheap and awesome lube.
