Every team could say the same thing about their coach, even Bill Belichek. No coach without perceived flaws exists.

Seems like it boils down to 1) he likes to pass the ball and 2) he's too soft in practices. Given that the league has become a pass-happy league, #1 isn't necessarily an issue as long as it's not taken to the extreme. As for #2, I can't really say much there, but I have trouble believing he's softer than Romeo.

I've heard he's anything but soft in practices.

It appears that someone was attempting to be too clever by half. As Mr. DaFace so eloquently states; this guy wants to run the ball more and is, apparently, somewhat risk-averse.
As for the soft practices, this is the first I've heard of Wally running soft practices. I've tried to learn as much as I could about Wally over the last few days and I have only heard one other statement that came close to this and it was more along the lines of Wally showing "favoritism" in practices. Everybody else says his practices are tough as hell and disciplined ... which, by the way, is the kind of development environment our guys need. Therefore, I declare this guy to be a Class 2 Knucklehead. FAX |

I will take it. Some of the funnest games to watch were Eagles Cowboys or Eagles Redskins or Eagles Giants. That division beat them selves up more often than not much like the AFCW did over the decades. The Eagles dominated that division under Any Reid, can't take that away from him. They looked prepared & I saw big hits & big plays watching them games. I think Andy Reid brings us an edge in division competition & that is where we need to start taking over.

I read his practices were brutal...maybe he's changed since this was written.
