My concern is that the mainstream media is dominating the debate (Fox is the lone exception) and they will demonize the opposition with many people falling for it. Let's hope not though. More people are waking up and trusting them less.

For the sake of this post, let's assume that this shows causation, and not just correlation. Why not.

According to the FBI, here are the top and bottom ten states in violent crime (not counting DC, which is by the far the most violent in all cases).

Top ten (highest violent crime rate). According to Nugent, these should be the ten states with the fewest armed citizens.
Tennessee 608.2
