....this is just stupid.

Haith is the most successful coach MU has had since Norm Stewart (who himself really didn't accomplish much in his 800 yrs of coaching), and people are already calling for his head.

The problem is Pressey, and coaching can only do so much. KU has had the same problems w/ Elijah Johnson, but to his defense he's not a true PG. Should Haith bench him at times? You can argue that...but who are you going to replace him with?

Losing Dixon hurt this team more than people are willing to admit.

While I hope you're right, you must be going on a hunch, a gut feeling, a guess...because nothing to date points to the "group of talented kids" doing anything but choking... Perhaps the typical tear they shed again last night will, for some reason, be the spark for them to figure out how to play as a team. Not that last night's last fail was on Pressey, but we all know Pressey has some skills, but he loses his ability to think rationally down the stretch. He's an attention whore, and he is NOT a team player, at least not yet.

So it'll be nice if you're right, but unless you lay-out the science of what will make that "run" possible (great player returning, wounds on key players healed....), then it's simply that gut feeling I referred to. And that's cool too, it's just a game.

And, have you placed you hefty bet? It's one thing to type it here and go with the 50/50 bet of the undefined definition of "a good run," or you can detail the wager you backed-up that feeling with.

I think that would be great, but I just can't believe they'd put another "home" team in line to face Kansas (or any of the top seeds) in the first set of games. It will be awesome if it happens though.

I never said I was surprised over the loss, just depressed and possibly suicidal.

I've always been nuts, but this team has catapulted me over the ****ing deep end.

They've made me do this about ten times this year:

Missouri hasn't ever played a tournament game in their home state and they won't do it this year either.
