Why do the Anti-Gun crowd hate women?

Why do the Anti-Gun crowd hate women?
Why would you want to make it harder or impossible for a woman to defend herself against rape or sexual assault?

Remember, just because you are the wormy squirly girly man type and most women can kick your ass anyway does not mean there are not others out there she can't and may need a little help to equalize..

I'm just curious. What is this "police state" that you keep insisting you are protecting us from?

That's funny. I think you're the one that's stonewalling me. You made an accusation. I'm asking you to support it.

Good. Let's roll with that.

What support would you need to see? Let's lay this out.

I'm using my expansive experience in this forum's political discussion, especially my near-100% participation in civil liberties threads, to base my belief that you have not stood up for civil liberties to protect Americans from a police state on this forum prior to the various gun control threads you now fan across as a purported statement against a police state.

Look, the baseless accusation you made is nothing more than your opinion. But you did make the accusation. I am not inclined, nor am I obligated, to aid you in substantiating or disproving your accusation. Do your own homework. Find examples on the board that would show that I am only interested in civil liberties when they apply to gun ownership. I don't think that you can.

That's fine and everything, you're allowed to believe what you want for whatever reason, but let's not pretend like this is a serious stance against tyranny, because I bet you're perfectly fine with warrantless wiretapping, domestic drones, habeas corpus suspension for US citizens who haven't been convincted, the Patriot Act, disproportionate punishment of government whisteblowers -- all of which do everything in their power to enhance a police state.

Of course, that's all an aside. But making sure police forces have the resources they need for domestic tranquility (which is what I'm suggesting) isn't the same thing as a police state.

Which you know. And I know you know. And you know I know you know. But saying stuff is fun. I get it.

Go ahead. Prove that I am only interested in civil liberties as they affect my ability to possess firearms. There is an example earlier in this thread, posted by someone else mind you, that proves you wrong.

We've got to clear a couple things up.

Baseless means without foundation. Foundation in argumentation can come in the form of deductive logic or inductive evidence. Evidence can often include anecdotal evidence or personal experience. Neither are definitive proofs (such is the case with induction) but both are commonly used to offer a foundation for arguments.

Nor do you need to be, but you've purposefully attempted to make this conversation much more difficult than it needs to be by trolling and ignoring my arguments to simply restate your conclusions.

For starters, you can tell me what evidence you'd find remotely compelling. Because as of now, you seem to be demanding a type of evidence (your non-participation in threads) that can't exist.

Not the argument I made, brother. Keep your eyes on the ball here.

You argued earlier in this thread that you feared a police state, which was aided and abetted by gun control. My counter was that you haven't taken stances in countless previous threads that would prove your affinity for resisting the police state when it came to any other amendment but the 2nd.

You didn't clear anything up. I quoted the pertinent posts already. Here's yet another excerpt from those posts:
