Explain to me the difference when you say one should be banned and one should not

"Assault Weapon" is a completely made up term or what I assume to mean either an assault rifle or assault pistol. Unless you are talking about a fully automatic weapon it is neither an assault rifle or assault pistol. Assault rifles and assault pistols already require an FBI back ground check and I believe a class 3 licsense. Case closed.

Most people think the "AR" in "AR-15" stands for Assault Rifle
