You only need one team to not care. He'll likely fall out of the top 10. This hurts him a lot more than other players because he constructed a narrative as a high character individual and leader. He'll be a pariah for this, especially in a hyper masculine culture like an NFL locker room.

Comparisons to Ray Lewis' personal reclamation are off base, IMO. Lewis is a genuinely terrifying individual with near unmatched intensity and charisma. Te'o isn't that guy.

Maybe an attention-starved shit mongrel like Jerry Jones grabs him for the media attention. With an average combine I bet he slips to round 2, if not lower.

Eh I think that's a bit of a miss on looking at it from the POV of a gay person. Ray Lewis actually has NFL-caliber talent unlike Te'o. That is another difference.
