This is a great post. I agree.

If we take a LT or DT, or sign Alex Smith, then by all means freak the **** out, but if you're going to throw away your Chiefs gear and quit on the franchise because we choose another QB (Wilson, Barkley, Glennon, etc) over Geno, then GTFO!

Hell I'm not the biggest Geno fan, but if we pick him at 1, I'll gladly support him because he's a Chief and Reid/Dorsey are smart guys.

we've only said this a million times on multiple threads (every QB thread)...for months...jesus I've been for damn near every QB on the board every year for a god damn decade

He was the most sought after candidate over the prvious 2 or 3 years.

You and I, and a few others may not have liked it, but let's be honest and acknowledge that he did make the big hire.

And let's not forget that this whole argument began with the assertion that Clark is "cheap". Regardless of how his tenure played out in reality, ***** was a highly sought-after candidate and Clark made him the highest paid GM in the league to come to KC. That's not cheap.
