Was it not the worst you've seen him look in an interview?

I'm not saying it was horrible. I'm not running around talking about locking the thread and saying he is suddenly taken down a notch based off a 5 minute clip. But it wasn't his best stuff.

Just FYI but he was suggesting closing the thread because of the Alex Smith rumor, not Geno's interview.

The amount of time between Mooch drawing up the play and asking Geno to draw it was brutal and especially with the questions asked in between. What's the choice drug on campus? Hit'em between the eyes with that. I thought Geno should have done better drawing up the play though.

To me, what I think Mooch was looking for with the drug question was what spurs Geno on and what he brings to a team.

I would've said something along the lines of, "my drug is working hard and leading and inspiring my teammates to achieve the absolute highest level possible in an effort to be the greatest team possible, as long as I'm able to bring that kind of thing to my team, then I believe anything is possible", or something to that extent.

The way Mooch said it was fairly tricky.

No, he was trying to bait Geno into admitting he was a drug user...

The Chiefs are very impressed with Geno Smith at this point, skeptical of Wilson, and most likely out on Ryan Nassib... more in a bit.

Or that he was active in the party scene in college, something you wouldn't want your black franchise QB to be a part of. (See Jamarcus and Vince)

Did he miss the part we are trading for Alex Smith?

I'm afraid this thread will be like the Dewey victory party when Alex goes to the Chiefs and Geno goes to the Raiders.
