Ran into Shannon Sharpe today in NOLA

I'm in New Orleans this weekend hosting the Norton area of the ESPN #NEXTNOLA superbowl party... http://www.espnnext2013.com/

Today, I saw Joe Flacco at my hotel, as I'm staying in the same hotel as the Ravens...

When I ate lunch, I ran into Shannon Sharpe...

and I said: "Shannon Sharpe, how are you doing, man?"

SS: "Doing great."

TW: "I'm from Kansas City, so I'm not supposed to like you or be nice to you... in fact, I think I'm supposed to tackle you"

SS: "hahah, yeah, good luck with that. Congrats on that 2-14 season!"

The only way a story that begins with " I ran into Shannon Sharpe today" is a good one is if it ends with "my insurance covered my car's damage and the bastard didn't get up."

I used to dislike that prick, but he was one of the very few voices of reason when it came to the Chiefs.

He earned some respect for speaking the truth when all of the other media morons didn't have a clue about KC.

that's a big MF.

after he said that about our season, you should've punched him in his lips.

...and then run like a MF.

This! He called out Cassel many times during the season, but it seemed like someone kept telling him to shut up when he would do it.

My first thought when I read that exchange is that I would have said yeah, but at least Pioli is gone. We all know Matt Cassel is NOT an NFL QB. Did the producers make you shut up during that tirade? We all heard it in KC and loved it!

Actually, obviously evolution is true, but seeing SS makes me almost believe it isn't true.
