Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, has scheduled a meeting with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano for Saturday, February 23 to discuss securing protection and immunity from prosecution from the Italian government, according to Italian media sources.

Ratzinger's meeting follows upon the apparent receipt by the Vatican of a diplomatic note from an undisclosed European government on February 4, stating its intention to issue an arrest warrant for Ratzinger, who resigned from his pontificate less than a week later.

In response to the February 23 meeting, the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS), through its field Secretary, Rev. Kevin Annett, has written to President Napolitano, asking him to refrain from assisting Ratzinger in evading justice.

I don't know the answer to that. I only know that they're supposed to put spirituality before such needs and that in the RCC sex is for procreation not to release pressure. They go without other worldly pleasures too.

I offer a response to you as I respect you for the good you do on here, unfortunately my response is one of strict disagreements on all your issues with the beliefs of Catholicism.
I can back up every one of your issues that you claim is not scriptural with scripture. This is a back and forth game with scripture til we're blue in the face. What I suggest is you look into early church history, the writings of Justin Martyr are a good place to start - The Church fathers. I am not on here to proselytize so I will leave it at that.

In response to your next paragraph, it must be a great grace you have been given to be able to presume who will make it to heaven and who will not, the truth of the matter is the Vatican sustains on a very small income, the wealth you speak of is in museums for all to enjoy ( they don't only let Catholics in the Vatican museum or St. Peters). The glorious, churches are to inspire us and remind us of the world to come, but most of all to offer beauty and splendor back to the creator. With all of that said no one can deny that the Catholic church is the largest charity on this planet. We feed more families, educate more children, and help more sick than any one globally.

Jesus does not ask us to sell off the expensive ointment, because for the poor they will always be with us, but we offer glory to him with our resources and we shall be blessed.

Personally I place homosexuality on the same level as pedophilia, in regards to the affect the orientation and preference has on a person. I believe that some people have developed to have those certain attractions, and as I Catholic I do not condone or endorse such actions, given that the actions of a pedophile is one that not only harms their soul but harms an child as well. With that said sin is sin, so adultery, homosexuality, murder, who am I do judge you because you sin different than me? It is not charity to confirm someone in their sin though.

I thought that happens to the male whereas a woman can keep going. We definitely have more endurance here.
Plus, women are blessed with the ability to have multiple orgasms. Although, that depends on their partner's skillz.
