He's not even a good backup. Honestly, he shouldn't even still be playing in the NFL.

We can easily replace him with pretty much any vet out there. There is literally no reason he should be back on this team.

We need to finally get rid of the face of the Pioli era.

I seriously doubt Matt would want to stay. His salary this year isn't out of line for a starting quarterback so this basically says you're not the starter and well, lets face it, he's not liked much around these parts.

He is what he is man. And that's a terrible quarterback.

What does he do well? Think about it.

He has no accuracy.
He has no arm.
He has a slow release.
He has no pocket presence.
He stares down receivers.
He doesn't go through his progressions, therefore he misses wide open receivers consistently.
He cant read defenses.
He crumbles under the slightest pressure.
He holds onto the ball too long.
Hes stupid.

You cant fix a shit QB. Cassel needs to be protected by a great line, great WRs, great coaching in order to do well. Ill take my chances with a QB out of this draft and my number 1 is Geno Smith
